"We are very much looking forward to meeting with the Profire team," said Lane Beattie, president of the Salt Lake Chamber. "As one of the fastest-growing companies in Utah, we hope to see them play an increasingly important role in the local economy and within the oil and gas industry."

The day's events will include a tour of Profire's headquarters in Lindon, Utah, as well as a meeting with Profire's executive team and senior management. Confirmed guests for the day's events include:

In a recent meeting with Utah lawmakers, Gov. Herbert spoke about the need for initiatives to improve air quality in the state, as well as the role that natural gas could play in those initiatives:

"All of us know air quality is an issue, and it's been front and center this winter," Gov. Herbert said. "We need to find ways to improve our air quality . . . it impacts our health, it impacts our economy, [and] it impacts our quality of life."

At the same meeting, Gov. Herbert called natural gas the "fuel of the future" and emphasized to lawmakers its role in helping to reduce emissions and move toward greater energy independence and a stronger economy. Profire's executive team cited their technology's potential to aid in this initiative:

"Effective burner management products help make the industry safer, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly," said Brenton Hatch, chief executive officer of Profire. "As an oilfield technology company, we applaud the thought-leadership shown by the governor on this important topic, and we look forward to collaborating on initiatives that will accomplish his objectives and set a pattern for the country."
